Through the years, I have been involved in many types of business environments, from one-person home offices to multi-location, multi-state retail/manufacturing companies.

With a solid background in computers and banking, I entered into a public tax and accounting partnership in the early 1990s. Back then, our company embraced the impact of computers and the Internet on our own business and on the businesses of our clients.

One example is the way software programs such as QuickBooks have changed the way accounting and taxes are done. This is a perspective I’ve continued to espouse in my more recent work as a consultant.

I’ve also recognized that I have a talent for working side-by-side with clients and helping them stay motivated and focus on getting the job done. I’m not always right, but I always try to learn from my mistakes. And, I’ve received many compliments about my subtle stick-to-it-iveness.
